Job opportunities

Our Explosives Disposal department has three specialist levels:
- Assistant Explosives Specialist
- Explosives Specialist
- Senior Explosives Specialist

Assistant Explosives Specialists are aware of the methods of detection with various detection equipment and computer systems. They can perform such tasks independently. In addition, they assist the Explosives Specialist in the process of making sites safe.
Explosives specialists can interpret information from the detection procedure independently, tackle situations involving explosives and make sites containing explosives safe for as long as necessary.
Senior Explosives Specialists oversee the entire project.

Within the department, we work both independently and as part of a team. Motivation and flexibility are key attributes for a job in this field.
